We have already discussed In-Ear-Headphones
Today we will discuss  On-Ear-Headphones.
In-Ear-Headphones has several advantages. Easy to carry, Good noise isolation and less sound leakage (Sound Bleeding) .Good for travelers, Gym etc. On the other hand, Over-Ear-Headphones are good for complex music, good sound, Noise cancellation which include noise isolation also. Best for the home, studio etc.

On-Ear-Headphone is compromize

On-Ear-Headphone is somewhat in between the above two classes. They are not much recognized as very good headphones. they don’t really have any unique advantages over in-ear or over-ear headphones. But some people prefer them only because they are neither inserted in the ear canal nor cover the ear fully. On-ear-headphones are somewhat of a compromise

SOUND

Since they are on the ear so they don’t provide Noise Isolation. Some are just ok at noise cancellation. In noise cancellation, some fancy processing creates inverse waves which get fed back into the headphones. In earphones, the manufacturer supplies different options for earbuds to fit in your ear. Here there is no such option. Sometimes headphones don’t sit on ear perfectly because of different shapes of ears.It starts hurting. So Noise isolation is very poor. Also, sound leakage is very high. Often the nearby are more disturbed by bleeding sound.

COMFORT

On-ear headphones aren’t as comfortable as over-ear can…Depending on the type of foam and amount of foam used, they’re still generally quite comfortable. On-ear headphones, sit on your ear, so the pressure is not comfortable after long periods of time. On-ear- headphones can sometimes lead to soreness from constant contact with ears. Always remember the principle of 60/60, Max 60 minutes of use at a stretch with a max volume of 60% of the peak volume of headphone.
Our team personally don’t advice for On-Ear-Headphones
